Electronic Engineer

My client is a global leading Aerospace / Defence company that are looking for a Electronics Engineer who will be based within the Engineering team and be responsible for the entire electronics process from problem definition, design, development, debug and manufacture.

You will also work closely with the Production and Design teams to generate conceptual solutions and designs, produce CAD design layouts and manufacturing drawings in an electro/mechanical design environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop electronic concepts based on various factors and requirements
• Analyse electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Develop block diagrams and interface control documentation
• Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results
• Select suitable components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
• Support on-site customer software activities
• Conduct design reviews
• Liaise with manufacturers and production engineering department

Qualifications

• Electronic design experience with a relevant degree qualification
• Experience in all aspects of PCB design/layout
• Proven strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
• Understanding of digital and analogue electronic disciplines
• Ability to generate schematics to meet design requirements
