Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop embedded software for both new and existing servo drive systems.
• Formulate, design, develop, and execute unit and functional tests for software validation.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software into the product development process.
• Release thoroughly documented and rigorously tested software.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing embedded systems, demonstrating proficiency in C and C++, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and version control systems like Git, Jenkins, and Mercurial.
• Exhibit a strong affinity for control systems, industrial communication protocols, servo drives, and functional safety.
• Showcase expertise in low-level programming with Microcontrollers, particularly ARM Cortex-A architectures, and a solid understanding of common data interfaces such as Modbus TCP, SPI, and UART.
• Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
• Must be eligible to work in the EU.
