EMC & Interference Engineer

EMC & Interference Engineer – 12 month contract + extensions

I am partnered with a global semiconductor leader at their site in Eindhoven, who are looking to bring on an EMC & Interference Engineer to their team.

This would be an initial 12 month contract, with extensions very likely – from working with the team for many years, these contracts are typically very long term.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Point of communication between customer and design teams for EMC & Interference and modelling in close cooperation with the requesting design teams
• Creation of electrical models using EM simulator for parts of the system including IC, package, PCB and antennas
• Cooperate with EDA vendors (improvement requests, tuning of the flows) in sync with the EM and Interference team
• Development and improvement of flows and methodologies that will be used for EMC simulation
