Equipment Engineer – Diffusion / Electronics / Semiconductor

We are currently recruiting Equipment Engineers to work for a US headquartered world leading global manufacturer of electronic components supplying industry-leading companies across multiple industries including Industrial, Transportation, and Semiconductor.

This is a permanent working opportunity based onsite in Lampertheim, Germany.

Key responsibilities for this Equipment Engineer position:

• The definition and management of continuous improvement across multiple areas including occupational safety and quality.
• Development and optimizing maintenance and repair concepts alongside leading equipment overall and replacement projects.
• The development of spare/replacement part concepts in the diffusion area and monitoring of equipment-related KPIs.
• Providing support in troubleshooting and determination of causes alongside the development of OCAPs for known equipment errors.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance and repair of complex production systems; ideally in Semiconductor diffusion tubes.
• A strong knowledge of, and previous experience working with, diffusion furnaces.
• Experience in PLC Programming.
• Strong language skills in German; ideally B2 Level
