Europe Business Development Manager

Milan, Italy

Hybrid (must be on-site 3x per week)

We are currently working with a leading provider of semiconductor, microcontroller, mixed-signal, analog and Flash-IP solutions.

With over 20,000 employees worldwide, you will be joining a multi-cultural team that facilitates inter-team collaboration.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Driving business opportunities, utilizing the complete range of our capabilities to maximize revenue and margin.
• Focusing on target end equipment and key clients to drive maximum growth.
• Cross-BU collaboration to maximize content at customers.
• Working closely with the field and factory teams to develop major customer program business proposals.
• Supporting field teams to drive design wins and provide support to our customers across Europe.
• Generating and delivering training materials for field sales and distribution partners.
• Executing product introduction plans including launch, channel training, promotion, pricing and selling tools.
• Providing customer and market requirements with strategic insight to the product team.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics or similar
• Experience in the embedded control or microcontroller market
• Semiconductor business model knowledge and specifically microcontroller business is a significant advantage.
• Customer account management experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate teamwork in a cross-functional, global team environment and be able to establish constructive working relationships with customers and field sales teams.
• Excellent communication skills including messaging, presentation development and delivery and listening skills.
• Full working proficiency in English language / Local language (Italian)
• A valid, clean driving license

One thing to note: This position will involve travel to customer sites. (0-25%)
