Field Application Engineer – Video Processing / Image Sensors / Semiconductor

We are currently partnered with a leading fabless semiconductor company specializing in the development of cutting-edge Automotive products. They are currently looking to expand their team in Germany and hire an experienced Field Application Engineer to provide technical support for the camera video processor product line for their clients across Germany and the EU.

This is a permanent opportunity offering working fully remotely in Germany with regular travel to client sites across the EU.

Key Responsibilities for this Field Application Engineer position:

• Providing technical support for the camera processing product line via email, phone, or onsite support.
• Reproducing and troubleshooting system and software-related problems.
• Providing detailed descriptions of bug reports to the software team.
• Working collaboratively with marketing and sales departments in pre-sales activities.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of expereince working as a Field Application Engineer or Embedded Software Engineer
• Previous expereince in debugging problems across systems, hardware, and software.
• Proven expereince in image/video processing and working within a lab environment.
• Knowledgeable of design and development techniques.
• Experience within the automotive market and an understanding of neural networks or image sensors are highly beneficial.
