Field Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Milan

This position, reporting to Senior Director of Sales, will manage key accounts in Italy.

We’re looking for someone who has a solid understanding of #powersupply specifications and technologies with emphasis on solution cost and familiarity with power electronic components and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

– Drive revenue growth in Italy – Define and implement strategies for fast growth.

– Understand Italian market defining SAM/SoM by major market segments and key focus account. – Regularly meet with the Key Accounts and join visits with other Team members when needed.

– Drive assigned FAE resource in co-ordination with European Engineering Manager to maximize design wins and revenue growth.

– Define pricing strategies using a value selling approach understanding competition.

– Leverage distribution channels to maximize number of design opportunities and design wins.

– Write and present presentations to customers and PI Management – Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecast for the territory and key accounts.

– This is a customer facing role, regular travel is a requirement.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• BSEE or equivalent, with experience in technical marketing and business development.
• Experience in the embedded control or microcontroller market is required.
• Semiconductor business model knowledge and specifically microcontroller business is a significant advantage.
• Motor control and/or digital power application experience and/or market knowledge is an advantage.
• MBA degree with marketing or financial emphasis is an advantage.
• Customer account management experience.
• Excellent communication skills including messaging, presentation development and delivery and listening skills.
• English-fluent.

Essential Requirements:

– BSc Electronics Engineering or similar engineering discipline or BS in Business Management

– Minimum 3 years in a similar Sales role in the electronics industry

– Interpersonal skills and keen commercial awareness

– European Driving License

– Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
