Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our mission to create high-performance, Linux-based industrial controllers. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing device drivers: Collaborate on the development of device drivers in C/C++ for x86/ARM Linux RT industrial controllers. You’ll have the opportunity to control various peripherals such as GPIO, RS-485/RS-422, FPGA/MCU boards, and more.
• Learning and porting: Dive into the world of industrial control by learning and porting a commercial PLC runtime to x86/ARM Linux RT controllers. This task will be critical to our success in bringing advanced control solutions to the market.
• Quality assurance: Work closely with our testing engineers to design comprehensive test cases and testing processes. Your contributions to testing will ensure the reliability and performance of our industrial controllers.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of practical experience in Linux device driver development using C and C++. You should also be well-versed in object-oriented programming and experienced with version control systems, including Git, Jenkins, and Mercurial.
• Experience with FPGA or MCU programming is a valuable asset that will set you apart from other candidates.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration and clear documentation.
