Graphics GPU Software Engineer / Vulkan Drivers / OpenGL

At European Recruitment we are working alongside an industry leading Semiconductor company based in Cork to help them expand their GPU Software team.

Responsibilities as a Graphics GPU Software Engineer:

• Design and development of new features for GPU drivers
• Support for new hardware pre/post-silicon development
• Debugging of issues within software
• Optimizing software for performance and power
• Development of unit tests
• Working with partners, game developers, and OEMs

Requirements as Graphics GPU Software Engineer:

• 3+ years experience with C/C++ and Python or Java
• A knowledge of Data Structures and algorithms, including object-oriented programming
• An analytical mind and the ability to both work independently and integrate with a team as required
• Experience with development of device drivers, namely GPU or CPU
• Proven Experience with OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, DX11 or DX12 ApIs
