A fast growing Semiconductor scale up is in search of a dedicated Cryptographer—an adept security and cryptography expert who will play a pivotal role in propelling their cutting-edge initiatives forward. As a Cryptographer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and fortifying cryptographic systems and protocols that form the backbone of our security infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute cryptographic strategies, protocols, and algorithms, emphasizing robustness and resilience against evolving threats.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including security architects, software engineers, and product managers, to gather requirements and align on cryptographic specifications.
- Lead the development and implementation of cryptographic systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee the integration of cryptographic solutions into our systems, aligning with overarching architecture and security frameworks.
- Evaluate, identify, and address potential vulnerabilities or weaknesses in cryptographic systems, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Communicate cryptographic concepts, challenges, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cryptography, with a focus on designing and implementing secure cryptographic protocols.
- Profound understanding of cryptographic algorithms, key management, encryption techniques, and hash functions.
- Familiarity with industry standards like AES, RSA, ECC, and experience in implementing cryptographic solutions within software and systems.
