Industry Development Principal Engineer

I am currently working with a globally leading technology giant that is looking for an Industry Development professional to join their growing team in Milan.

Location: Onsite in Milan

If successful your responsibilities would include:

• Lead technological exploration to uncover new product development opportunities for cutting-edge technology.
• Foster collaborative innovation with technical partners, managing joint projects and facilitating communication.
• Establish and expand a network with European technical partners, including universities and research institutes, to explore collaboration opportunities and develop research proposals.
• Produce technical reports highlighting the latest advancements and proposing innovative product applications.
• Identify groundbreaking ideas through industry research, event participation, and collaboration with industry and academia.
• Monitor industry trends, forge partnerships with vendors and research institutions, and pursue involvement in European research projects.

Your career-to-date experience will include:

• At least 10 years experience of in business development in some of these areas

-Optical Technologies for commercial devices

-Advanced electronically reconfigurable microwave antenna systems

-Innovative manufacturing technologies

-Metamaterials and metasurface technologies for optical and microwave applications

-Mixed Signal Analysis and high-frequency power supply

• Masters degree +
• Willingness to travel
• Understanding of technical and commercial requirements
