Lead Backend Engineer (Python / Django / Docker Elasticsearch)

We are recruiting for a Lead Backend Engineer with extensive experience with Python, Django, Flask, Docker and Elasticsearch experience to join my client onsite in London on a permanent basis. 

My client is a leading Artificial Intelligence company whose focus is the verify and counteract “Fake News” online. 

As a Lead Backend Engineer youl will provide engineering support on our user product from a backend perspective, review and refactor code built by the AI research team to make it fit for production and help build out testing and validation pipelines for our algorithms for production, including automated deployment. 

Required skills: 

• Python, Django and Flask experience
• Docker experience 
• Postgres for DB, ElasticSearch and Pyspark for data and backend 
• Ability to be a generalist and help out the team in whatever task required, with clean and structured code 
• Experience in building out complex machine learning architectures and data processing pipelines
