Lead Software Engineer – C++ / GPU / GPGPU / Data Structures / Algorithms / Graphics

Would you like to join one of the worlds semiconductor powerhouses?

We’re working with one of the leadings names in this field and they’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer for their GPU Systems team in the Silicon Valley of Europe, Cork in Ireland.

As the Lead Software Engineer you will be focused on leading and mentoring the team responsible for a developing tools and device drivers for prototyping for next-gen GPU’s (amongst numerous other tasks)

What we look for:

• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
• Interest in computer graphics, machine learning or GPGPU
• Experience mentoring Junior Engineers

Any of the following will be considered a plus:

• 3+ years experiences with OpenGL ES/Vulkan/DX11/DX12 Graphics APIs
• 5+ years on C/C++ programming
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
• Exposure to Embedded systems or Real-time operating systems
• Experience working with ARM architecture
• Familiarity with Git, Perforce or other SCM tools
• Comfortable working close to the hardware
