Currently, I am working with a globally leading technology company that is looking for an experienced Linux Kernel expert to join their growing team in Pisa – this is an onsite role.

If you were successful your responsibilities would include:

• Designing and developing safe and efficient Linux Kernel components.
• Designing and Developing components based on the POSIX standard.
• Work with safety experts to define safety requirements, mechanisms and failure mode analysis
• Design and development of an Emulation infrastructure for emulating the behaviour of complex software on a virtual platform.

To be successful your experience will include:

• Masters+ in Engineering / Computer Science
• Good knowledge of Linux Kernel
• Experience in C
• Knowledge of computer architecture
• Real-time OSs and concurrent programming
• Knowledge of debugging technologies
