Linux Platform Software Engineer – C++ / Linux / Yocto / Kernel

Opportunity to work with a leader in the automotive industry on cutting edge projects for embedded systems on Linux OS.

The ideal candidate will have these key requirements & skills:

• Strong experience with Linux and programming languages such as C/C++.
• Extensive background in setting up embedded Linux platforms.
• Development experience with Android Open Source.
• Ideally some exposure to networking technologies: TCP/IP/CAN/Ethernet
• Knowledge of Bootloader setup, and System setup. Using and modifying SoC vendor SDK, setup build chain, including implementation/architecture requirements.

Worked on Kernel setup, apply patches to kernel, optimize hardware platform and real time . patches.

• Experience with platform architecture, ARMv8 based, multicore environment including cores with Linux and RTOS.
