Microwave Hardware Engineer

I am currently working with a globally leading technology giant that is looking for a Microwave Hardware Engineer to join its growing team in Milan.

Location: Onsite in Milan

If successful your responsibilities would include:

• Design of active microwave/mmWave industry/academia with a focus on passive and active devices and technologies.
• Perform device and module characterization, design verification and system-level tests
• Deeply understand the technical requirements of future products for antenna systems
• Contribute towards the research of next-generation mobile communication base station antenna/millimeter wave automotive radar antenna
• Collaborate with the teams to move new technologies into products.

Your career-to-date experience will include:

• Masters + within engineering
• 5+years experience in microwave/mmWave industry or academia
• Experience within PCB design rules and PCB layout
• Deep knowledge of most relevant commercial EDA tools
• Experience in System design with knowledge of TX/RX line up
• Familiar with system test methods and instrumental measurement techniques of microwave and mm-wave systems
