Microwave Hardware Engineer

We are working closely with a global tech giant who are looking to add a Microwave HW Engineer to work onsite in their Milan Research Centre.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design active microwave/mmWave modules, RF boards and electronic control boards
• Device and module characterization, design verification an system-level tests
• Understand the technical requirements of future products for antenna systems, identification of technology trends about active devices for wireless communications
• Research of the next generation mobile communication base station antenna/millimeter wave automotive radar antenna

Key Skills and Experiences Required:

• 5+ years’ experience in microwave/mmWave industry with a focus on passive and active devices and technologies
• Experience with PCB design rules and PCB layout
• Knowledge of relevant commercial EDA tools, tailored for microwave/mmWave designs
• Experience in system design, with knowledge of TX/RX line-up techniques
