Mobile Security Engineer – Certification / Cryptography / Android / Linux / C++

We are recruiting for a number of Mobile Security Engineers specifically for certification – in this role you will join a team focused on security certification for mobile, IoT and network devices.

We’re partnered with leading name in tech, and as a Mobile Security Engineer, you will liaise with internal stakeholders including local subsidiary (B2B Sales and Tech Support teams) plus internal R&D teams, create and understand detailed security requirements for device/function/equipment, and work closely with Government agencies and Advisory bodies to address overall local cyber security requirements and ensure that our clients products and services are recognised as secure.

What we look for is:

• A degree in Computing and Communications or any related discipline (an equivalent period of industrial experience may be substituted).
• 3-6 years’ experience in Security Accreditation and Assurance activity including CC, FIPS, CPA, CSPN, BSPA etc.,
• Able to create accreditation strategy, good understanding of security architecture, security evaluation, Threat and Risk assessment experience.
• Knowledge of various device security attack vectors including Apps, Browser, connectivity, device management, networking, local storage etc.,
• Android/Linux knowledge
• C/C++ programming

Any of the following will be considered a plus:

• Specialist degree in IT security
• Mobile device and Network security certification experience
• Have established contacts with certification bodies.
• Android and Linux security experience
• Knowledge of software design and development methodologies .
• Able to write code to create test module to verify security requirements.
• Working experience within an organisation that develops real time embedded handset software.
