NLP Research Scientist – PhD / Natural Language Processing / Natural Language Understanding / Python / Machine Learning

We are recruiting for a NLP Research Scientist with extensive experience in natural language understanding, dialogue manager, or information retrieval, strong programming experience in Python, R or MATLAB to join my client in the Cambridge area on a permanent basis.

My client is a global name in Semicon and this brand new research lab is focused on advancing my clients future AI.

Qualifications

• PhD in the field of NLP or related
• Experience in at least one of the following NLP areas: natural language understanding, dialogue manager, information retrieval
• Track record of coming up with new ideas in NLP, as demonstrated by projects or first author conference publications
• Software skills spanning from prototyping stage (like Python, R, MATLAB) to product release stage (unit and regression test, feature release, version control, change requests

Skills

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (like Keras, Tensorflow or PyTorch)
• Experience with NLP libraries (like NLTk, spaCy, openNLP, Stanford-NLP, WordNet)
