Open-Source Engineer – Telecoms / Mobile Software / Flutter

We are currently recruiting Opensource Engineers to work with a world-leading Telecoms company looking to expand its team in Poland.

This is a long-term contract opportunity working onsite in Warsaw.

Key Responsibilities for this Opensource Engineer position:

• Provide technical insight as a specialist within the open-source community.
• Gain an insight into the technical direction and key technologies from within the open-source community.
• Actively participate in key open-source community support for the team’s device OS ecosystem.

Key Requirements:

• A strong background in actively contributing to the open source community for mobile device software-related projects from Google, Apple, Meta, and Amazon.
• Good track record in open-source project development and expert-level knowledge of open-source software.
• Previous experience in open-source code review.
• Have good connections with key technical leaders within relevant key open-source communities.
• Knowledgeable in how to grow industry ecosystems from open-source projects.
