- Responsibilities:
- Technical insight specialist of the open source community, gain insight into the technical direction and key technologies of the open source community, complete POC verification, requirement analysis and planning for device OS platform?
- Participate in key open source community to support our device OS ecosystem including code committee, advocate etc.
- Requirements:
- Rich experience in use and participate in the open source community (mobile device software related) projects of Google, Apple, Meta, and Amazon (for example, fuchsia, Flutter, RN, WASM, Chromium, OpenSSL etc).
- Rich experience in open source project development, long term track of open source community status and activities, keep up with the new direction of technology trend. Expertise of open source software, Competitive analysis, identify key and advanced new technologies and solutions from open source community for Mobile devices software.
- Rich experience of open source code review, coding, debugging, gained influence from contribution to open source project with code, docs, and issues.
- Expertise of open source community operation, governance mechanism, culture, process and how to grow industry ecosystem from open source projects.
- Have fluence or good connection with key technical leaders from those open source community, for example Amazon (for example, fuchsia, Flutter, RN, WASM, Chromium, OpenSSL etc).
- Nice to have:
- Hold key technical positions in the open source community/foundation, and be able to influence the technology evolution direction of the community.
- Great influence in open source developers in device software related projects, Amazon (for example, fuchsia, Flutter, RN, WASM, Chromium, OpenSSL etc).
