Operating System Engineer – Embedded SW Researcher

We are working closely with a world leader in the technology & telecommunications space who are investing heavily in R&D and future technologies. This position is for a researcher or engineer to work on industrial R&D in the fields of Embedded Software, Open Source Operating Systems, and Kernel development.

You will be joining an experienced team of expert researchers & engineers where you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and research, if you have recently completed a PhD and are looking to join industry or if you are looking to work on new technologies and you hold expertise in the following areas, apply below!

Key Skills & Requirements:

• PhD degree ideally in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Recent graduate or several years post-doc/industrial working within the embedded field, Operating Systems, Kernel, Virtualization or File System Accelerators such as as SPDK or FS development.
• Experience with hardware/software co-design techniques such as FPGA programming is a plus.
• Proficient in various programming languages including C/C++, Python, and familiar with common operating systems such as Linux, Unix, FreeBSD etc.
• Strong understanding of Real-Time & Embedded Systems is priority, High Performance computing knowledge of MPI, OpenMP, HPC, & CUDA is also beneficial.
