Photonic Technologies Engineer

I am currently working with a globally leading technology giant that is looking for a Photonics engineer to join its growing team in Milan.

If you are interested in experimental research and development of new photonic devices this could be for you!

Location: Onsite in Milan

If successful your responsibilities would include:

• Able to use light properties and different materials to produce, control and manipulate light for high-tech devices.
• Design and test devices or systems that use cameras, lasers, microscopes, optomechanics and refractometer
• Conduct field research on existing photonics theory and design
• Assess new ideas to control photonic chip
• Collaborate with other research centres and universities

Your career-to-date experience will include:

• Masters + within engineering or physics
• 5-10 years experience in the field
• Experience of both Geometrical and Physical Optics
• Knowledge of main photonic technology platforms
• Ability to use optical and photonics software tools
