Process Engineer – Diffusion / Semiconductors / Yield

We are working with one of the world’s leading power semiconductor development groups who are looking to add to the team at their state of the art fabrication site in Lampertheim, Germany. The team currently has a need to add a Process Engineer to work on the diffusion processes, and to also assist on plant integration and yield improvement at the site. The role is a permanent position that is fully on-site and German language skills are required for the position.

Focus of the role:

• Working to improve the stability of diffusion processes
• Working on project management, with a focus on new plant integration, cost reduction and yield improvement
• Release of ovens for production
• Working on experimental variants for the optimization of diffusion processes
• Introduction of statistical process controls (SPC) and definition of control limits

Requirements for this Diffusion Process Engineering role:

• Proven experience working in process engineering
• Expertise working in diffusion processes and their optimization
• Experience in applying various problem-solving approaches such as (8D, Ishikawa, DMAIC etc.)
• Professional English and German language skills
