Quality Engineer – Semiconductors / VDA 6.3 / IATF 16949

We are currently recruiting Quality Engineers to work with a leading semiconductor company in Europe specializing in cutting-edge environmental sensing technologies.

This is a permanent opportunity offering hybrid work arrangements in Reutlingen, Germany.

Key Responsibilities for this Quality Engineer position:

• Take ownership of project quality work packages for sensor development.
• Actively contribute to planification and coordination of qualification execution throughout the value chain.
• Translating customer requirements and product specs to qualification plan proposals.
• Executing risk management throughout product development processes.
• Engaging with customers on quality topics and managing customer claim processes.
• Executing project qualification plan until SOP and safe launch.

Key Requirements:

• 4-6 years of industry expereince in quality engineering within an automotive or semiconductor setting.
• Expereince with automotive quality tools and processes; specific expereince with VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 is essential.
• Knowledgeable of ISO 14001 environmental management.
• A good working knowledge of semiconductor acceleration models and failure modes.
• Knowledgeable of qualification standards.
• Fluency in German and English is a hard requirement.
