Research Scientist on Machine Learning, AI and Big Data

A position has opened at a world leading networking and telecommunications client to join their team on a permanent basis as a Research Scientist, working on Machine Learning, AI and Big Data for networking. Based in their research center in the Paris area, you will be developing novel network analytics and network control algorithms to drive research and innovation in the context of fixed networks.

Major responsibilities include:

• Develop intelligent services using artificial intelligence and big data for future automatic and simplified network management solutions. 

• Conduct research activities on intelligent OAM of networks (campus, datacenter) with problems such as root cause analysis, failure prediction, anomaly detections, intent-based networking and closed loop network control.

• Be responsible for the research on algorithms for network management, apply intelligent OAM algorithms to specific scenarios, and enhance the core competitiveness of related products. 

Requirements for the role:

• Hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or similar.
• Have extensive knowledge of networking technologies – equipment, network planning solutions, operation and maintenance solutions.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning algorithms and platforms.
• Experience with Java, Python, or other similar programming languages.

Multiple openings are available at varying seniority levels, salary is negotiable depending on candidate experience.
