Sales and Applications Engineer – Fluent French Required

A leading producer of imaging, optics and photonics technology is looking for a French-speaking Sales and Applications Engineer to join them in York. 

This role has a 50/50 split of technical support (via phone, email and live chat for things like finding a product or ordering a custom part) and sales support (sending quotes, some account management).

They are open to considering fresh graduates for this role, up to 5 years of experience, ideally in a technical customer service role. 

Required skills: 

• Degree in a STEM subject
• Fluent French – speaking and writing (C2 or native)
• Experience analysing data and information
• A professional demeanour with excellent phone etiquette and strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a technical customer service role – beneficial
