Job Summary:

We are currently hiring an Account Manager to join a leading Semiconductor distributor responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, typically within the electronics and semiconductor industry. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales growth, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Understand client needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, support, and address any concerns.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute account-specific sales plans.

Product and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and the latest semiconductor products.
  • Provide clients with product information, technical expertise, and solutions to meet their requirements.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Ensure that contractual obligations and service level agreements are met.

Customer Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and requests.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns effectively.

Market Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve product offerings and strategies.

Sales Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to management and clients.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for account management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (often preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, especially in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor products, technology, and industry dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Language skills: Native French or Flemish and English.
