Senior Computer Vision R&D Engineer

Senior Computer Vision R&D Engineer – Remote within Japan

I am looking for a Computer Vision R&D Engineer to join a fast growing AR start-up based in Tokyo. You should have experience in machine learning and 3D geometry.

This role will focus on designing and implementing advanced algorithms for large-scale localization and mapping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, simulate and implement new features
• Provide proof of concept and prototyping
• Create libraries, and advanced SDKs for various platforms
• End-to-end development

Key Skills and Experiences Required:

• 3+ years experience as a software engineer with a focus on computer vision / machine learning
• Experience with computer vision – 3D geometry, object recognition, and tracking
• Experience with machine learning, deep neural networks, and related frameworks
• Skilled in Python, C++
• Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, mercurial, or SVN
• Strong interest in AR Technology
