Senior DSP Engineer (GNSS / GPS)

European Recruitment are working closely with an exciting hardware company, based in Delft, who are looking for talented Senior DSP Engineers with exposure to GNSS / GPS technology to join their team.

Working with our client you will experience a world class startup environment and play an important part in rapidly growing their ultra-low power digital RF technology enabling next-generation IoT GNSS solutions.

In this role you will focus specifically on the design and development of circuits and system architectures for new products.

Responsibilities as Senior DSP Engineer (GNSS / GPS):

  • Advance the acquisition, tracking and/or navigation algorithms.
  • Writing and debugging software in Matlab and C++.
  • Validating algorithms and control firmware in embedded devices.
  • Documentation and presentation of results both internally and externally.
  • System-level and link-level design in support of a robust satellite broadband communication system.
  • Work in close collaboration with ASIC/FPGA, RF/antenna, and software engineers to design and validate silicon-based systems.
  • Develop floating-point and fixed-point models and run simulations to analyze and validate overall system performance.

Requirements:

  • Master’s in electrical engineering (or equivalent industry experience) with 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in signal processing techniques in relevant technology.
  • Significant knowledge of the GNSS processing chain.
  • Strong Matlab and C++ programming skills.
  • Embedded programming/development experience (DSP).
  • Good communication, reporting, and presentation skills in English.

Desirable experience:

  • Multi-path mitigation techniques.
  • Kalman Filtering knowledge.
  • Multi-sensor integration experience.
  • Least Squares Optimization.
  • Multipath mitigation.
  • RTK/PPP or multi-constellation techniques.
  • Knowledge of LTE / Wifi.
  • Knowledge of the tracking loop and SLAM are plus.
