Senior Physical Design Engineer

Location: Hybrid available in France.

We are looking for a Senior Physical Design Engineer to join a fast-growing Semiconductor company in either Paris, Grenoble or Caen.

In this role you’ll be focused on executing the entire backend process of the RTL-to-GDSII flow, from hierarchical floor planning to place & route, timing closure, power integrity, static timing verification, physical verification, and equivalence checks.

Qualifications:

• You have a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with hands-on experience in the physical design of digital ICs from RTL to GDSII.
• You have knowledge of scripting languages, including TCL, Python, Bash, Make, and Skill.
• You have previous experience with the Cadence physical design flow.
• You have experience with the full RTL to GDS2 physical design flow execution, including synthesis, place & route, static timing analysis, DFT insertion, DRC and LVS sign-off, with 22nm and below technologies.
