Senior Principal Engineer – SiC / GaN / Si / Power Semiconductors

We are looking for a Senior Principal Engineer to join a world-leading technology company at their office in the beautiful city of Nuremberg.

As a Senior Principal Engineer your responsibilities will include:

· Lead and deliver research projects on time & to a high standard, working with a team of engineers.

· Provide technical expertise & advice on power semiconductor devices (SiC/GaN/Si).

· Define technical success factors & provide high-level direction for projects.

· Manage technical solutions, deliverables, & risks to meet long-term business goals.

· Understand client requirements & drivers, & identify technical challenges.

· Interact with clients technically & commercially.

· Involvement in the technical & trend analysis of next-gen power semiconductors.

As a Senior Principal Engineer your skills will include:

· PhD degree in Semiconductor Physics, Power Electronics or a similar discipline

· Extensive experience in power semiconductor device development, research, & production

· Excellent understanding of power semiconductor material, device design, process development, reliability, & failure analysis

· Experience with Wide Bandgap (WBG) material fabrication & characterization in a mass production environment
