Senior Principal Test Engineer for Power Semiconductors (m/f/d)

Location: Hamburg

We are a semiconductor company is a leading expert in the high-volume production of essential #semiconductors, #components that are required by every electronic design in the world.

The company’s extensive portfolio includes #diodes, #bipolar transistors, #ESD protection devices, #MOSFETs, #GaN FETs and #analog & #logic ICs.

Responsibilities:

• Define test concepts/methods for industrial testing of discrete #SiC #power #semiconductors.

• Align test requirements with internal stakeholders and development partners.

• Drive implementation of test concepts at internal and external production sites.

• Validate and document implemented test methods.

• Continuous improvement of industrial testing (quality, yield, cost).

• Work in an engaged multi-cultural team with a global footprint.

Requirements:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in industrial testing of discrete power semiconductors, preferably SiC devices.

• Technical Expert on test methods and equipment.

• Passion for problem-solving and implementation of effective solutions.

• Team player with a strong drive to achieve success.

• Fluency in English.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing.

• • Willingness to travel occasionally.
