Power Semiconductor Devices Reliability Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: Nürnberg
We are looking for a international company and their #Power #Conversion Technology Lab and showroom for #Digital #Power Solutions as well as a #PV Proof of Concept Lab. Be part of a challenging environment and work of state of the art power converters.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and the development of laboratory new automatic test benches
- Developing hardware solutions, schematics, and PCB design according to technical specifications and test needs
- Responsible for setting up and run reliability tests at package and wafer level according to the technical inputs and project needs
- Responsible for power devices characterization at package and wafer level
- In charge of detailed reliability and characterization reports and data analysis
- Responsible for laboratory operations, cleanliness, instruments availability and maintenance plans
Requirements
- You hold a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with a background in semiconductor device physics or in a similar field
- Semiconductor reliability and power device test field experience or in a similar technical environment, semiconductor industry experience is a plus
- Experience with reliability statistics, lifetime tests, and accelerated tests
- Proven track in automatic lab bench development and device characterization and with wafer probers and wafer level testing
- Experience with common semiconductor device parameter analyzers (Keythley, Keysight, or similar) and with circuit simulation tools (Spectre, Simetrix and Spice)
- Experience with PCB design layout and assembly and expertise with Programming languages such as Fortran, C, C++, Phyton, LabView
- Knowledge of general analog and digital circuitry, circuit topologies for power conversion, signal acquisition, conditioning, and filtering, microcontrollers and programming
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (working language) and preferably also in German
