Senior RF Filter Engineer – CONTRACT / 5G / Microwave

We are looking for a Senior RF Filter Engineer to join a world leading technology company at their office in Stockholm.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated proficiency in RF filter technologies, particularly for radio base station applications.

As a Senior RF Filter Engineer your responsibilities will include:

· Creating & implementing innovative filter/multiplexer concepts & solutions for radio base stations, with an emphasis on 5G massive MIMO active antenna units & macro remote radio units (RRUs).

· Developing circuit synthesis for new filter topologies & numerically modeling RF filters.

· Successfully prototyping, characterizing, & fine-tuning RF filters.

· Keeping up with the most recent technical trends & identifying promising new filter technologies for 5G massive MIMO radios.

· Documenting, presenting, & advocating new concepts & solutions.

· Generating Intellectual Property Rights based on new technical solutions.

As a Senior RF Filter Engineer your skills will include:

· Master’s or PhD degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Technology, Wireless Communications, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or a similar discipline

· Proven experience in industrial R&D in RF filter/multiplexer technologies for radio base station applications

· Strong knowledge of electromagnetic wave theory

· Experience with full-wave simulations of various filter types, such as ceramic TE/TM filters & metal air-cavity filters

· Proficiency in tools such as ANSYS HFSS, CST Studio Suite, etc.

· Profound understanding of filter circuit theory

· Practical experience in designing, characterizing, tuning, and troubleshooting filters/multiplexers.

· Familiarity with a range of RF measurement equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal analyzers, vector signal generators, etc.

· Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities in both written and spoken English.
