For our well-known IT communications company, we are searching for a strong Software Developer in the field of Video Coding to join their rapidly expanding team based in Dresden, Germany.

This is an exciting new role for someone passionate about multimedia, Video, Audio & Speech to work on developing software to improve real-time communication platform used by several million users every day.

Job requirements for the Senior Software Developer – Video Coding  are:

• You will be responsible for analysing problems to write software requirements and design specifications, implement and evaluate software for processing, coding and distribution of video / screen sharing constraints.
• Expert in video coding, digital media, screen sharing and software engineering processes.

The key skills required for the Senior Software Developer – Video Coding are:

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar field with 2-5 years’ experience in industry.
• Expert in video coding, codecs and professional experience with at least one of the standards: H.264 / HEVC / VP8 / VP9.
• Strong experience in real-time signal processing, coding and streaming of live media.
• Strong C++ software skills.
