Senior Software Engineer with FPGA (C / C++ / Embedded)

We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer with FPGA with extensive experience in C and C++ to join our client at their HQ in the Cambridge area.

My client develops and manufactures PMP wireless backhaul and access solutions with a strong focus on the telecommunications industry and as a Senior Software Engineer with FPGA you will be responsible for fixing bugs and writing new features in C, Python and Verilog, work closely with the rest of the software team and work with the System Test team to keep the quality of the software high.

Experience required:

· Degree in Computer Science or similar

· Very strong C skills preferably embedded

· Strong FPGA development skills (Verilog)

· Experience with GIT

· Knowledge of network protocols

Experience desired:

· Python

· GTK

· OpenEmbedded

· Perl

· SNMP
