A fast scaling Semiconductor Manufacturer are looking for someone to join their team as a SoC Architect. In this role you’ll be leveraging your expertise in Architectural design, FPGA implementation, and associated programming languages to shape the foundation of their cutting-edge system architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of system architectures: Utilize your expertise in processors to optimize performance and scalability.
- Collaborate across functions: Work closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate cores within FPGA-based systems, ensuring flawless functionality.
- Define and document system specifications.
- Implement and optimize system architectures: Ensure compatibility and efficiency in the pursuit of ground-breaking innovations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve architectural issues: Address integration challenges to ensure system stability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree: In Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience: Demonstrated track record in system architecture design, with a specific focus on processor design and FPGA utilization.
- Knowledge of SoC architecture, FPGA implementation, and proficiency in associated languages like Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Programming proficiency: Competence in languages such as C, C++, or Rust, coupled with familiarity with scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience: Practical involvement in VHDL/Verilog coding, FPGA synthesis, and optimization methodologies.
- Problem-solving skills: Excellent analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication: Ability to translate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Team player mindset: Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with RISC-V ISA extensions and architecture.
- Experience in hardware and software co-design: Especially for FPGA-based systems.
- Knowledge of FPGA synthesis tools and design methodologies.
