SoC Hardware Architect Director / Automotive / Radar / Semiconductor

We are working closely with a global semiconductor company, based in the Nice / Sophia-Antipolis area, who are looking for an experienced SoC Hardware Architect Director to join their team.

In this role you will take responsibility for an engineering team focused on developing SoCs for automotive, edge and radar processing business lines.

Responsibilities as SoC Hardware Architect Director:

• Work with cross-functional architecture teams to develop holistic system-level SoC platform architectures targeting specific product class or developing a specific technology solution which is scalable across a wide-range of product types / tiers.
• Deliver architecture specifications which include detailed system-level use-case definitions, HW / SW partitioning, alignment with existing industry standards and relevant KPIs.
• Collaborate with design and execution teams throughout the entire product development cycle to ensure your solution is successfully deployed in commercial product.
• Developing specifications for both internal and 3rd-party IP, participating in Make V Buy analysis and selecting the right IP.

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in designing or architecting complex SoCs
• Interconnect, DDR memories, interconnect / system memory QoS, power & operating state management, PCIe, networking, debug, boot, virtualization, ML compute or multimedia & pixel processing.
• Ability to work at the system level
• Experience in defining IP components
