Software Build Tool Developer

Opportunity to work for a globally leading Technology giant at their R&D center in Munich on cutting edge software technology and tools.

Job role

• Responsible to develop prototype and key parts of their next generations software build system.
• Provide technology transfer support to HQ tool team and support the product line team in build tool application.
• Benchmarking advanced build tools in industry, like Bazel, Cmake etc.

Required Skills

• MsC or PhD in mathematics / computer science or related.
• Proficient in at least one major programming language like C/C++, Java, Fortran, Haskell
• Expert using build systems like Maven, Bazel.
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix
• English fluent

Nice to have

• Open source knowledge, interest or contributions.
• parallel computing experience and distributed computing.
