Software Developer – Actuator / Automotive / C / ASPICE / AUTOSAR / MISRA / CAN / Flexray / Autonomous Driving

We are recruiting for a Software Developer for Automotive actuators with prior experience in embedded software development, automotive development in C and knowledge of APICE, plus AUTOSAR, MISRA, CAN and/or Flexray to join my client in the Erlangen area of Germany (12km from city center)

My client is a German company operating within the automotive, aerospace and industrial domains. As a Software Developer you will be responsible for the creation of basic software functions within embedded software development of innovative mechatronic chassis actuators and steering systems for steer-by-wire applications for autonomous driving.

Required skills:

• BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Physics or released
• Prior experience in automotive embedded software development in C
• Good knowledge of the processes of ASPICE (compliant software development for safety-relevant systems)
• ECU software development in AUTOSAR, MISRA, CAN (-FD) and / or FlexRay
• Good written and spoken English and German
