Software Engineer – C/C++ / RTOS / Multithreaded applications / L1 Control

Location: Paris, France.

We are partnered with a leading developer of Semiconductor chips and they’re currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their team in Paris, France.

Own the evolution of the Modem platform within the Software team, driving its functionality and performance through both innovative feature development and proactive issue resolution for all related projects. This dual role will see you architecting cutting-edge advancements while simultaneously troubleshooting and maintaining its stability across the team’s diverse initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design SW features and defines SW specifications through documentation
• Development of software functions
• Maintain and follow up SW features
• Software Integration

Required experience and knowledge:

• 2+ years experience in industrial or embedded software development.
• Solid C/C++ programming skills
• Very good knowledge of real-time operating systems and/or multithreaded applications with hard real-time constraints
• Solid understanding of system architectures
• Experience in protocol features for 2G/3G/LTE is desirable
• Experience in L1 control algorithm is desirable
