Software Engineer – Computer Vision & Machine Learning

Our client is a research and application company that uses computer vision and machine learning to bring new technology to traditional industries. They are now looking for a Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, in Bressanone, Italy.

Key responsibilities:

• Use advanced algorithms to create reliable applications and stay current with the latest advances in computer vision and deep learning
• Help expand the company by developing and improving their core software
• Build and maintain a software product that is delivered to customers

Key requirements:

• MSc in Computer Science (or relevant field)
• 2+ years of working experience in coding Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms in C/C++
• Experience using versioning systems such as Git, as well as package management, debugging, and profiling tools

Desirable:

• Experience with: OpenCV, Tensorflow, PCL, or PyTorch
• Experience with GPU programming
• Knowledge of vision sensors and their optimal operating conditions
