Software Engineer – Secure Systems / Linux / Kernel

Opportunity to work for a global technology leader at their 500 person strong R&D Center in Cork. This is their Security and systems group and need someone with knowledge of the full SW stack including Kernel and user space.

Experience

· BsC / MsC or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

. 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience

· 4+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Rust, Java, Python, etc.

· 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.

Ideal candiates will have

· Debugging skills.

· Software architecture concepts.

· Experience with ARM TrustZone architecture

· Understanding of operating systems concepts such as memory management, protection domains, threads, and drivers.

· Experience programming in a Linux development environment.

· Understanding of a broad range of topics from security systems, virtualization, object- oriented programming, network stacks, UI frameworks, loaders, and application frameworks.

· Cryptography and secure protocols.
