Software Engineering Manager – Semiconductor / Python / C++ / Verification Tools

Would you like to join one of the worlds semiconductor powerhouses?

We’re working with one of the leadings names in this field and they’re seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join their team in the Silicon Valley of Europe, Cork in Ireland.

And Software Engineering Manager you will be focused on managing a team of python software engineers, engage with verification teams and prioritize tools and infrastructure work based on business needs (amongst other tasks)

Ideally, you should have 5+ years experience in software engineering including experience with Python and C++ plus at least 2 years experience managing software engineering teams.

Due to the scope of work involved in this division, you should also have solid experience with verification tools and infrastructure.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering including experience with Python.
• Experience with C++ preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams.
• Experience with verification tools and infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
