Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is a European Leader in the semiconductor industry, now looking to expand their teams at their sites in the US.

They are currently looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Plano, Texas. 

Responsibilities:

– Perform software testing against requirements to achieve quality goal

– Development of test concepts in cooperation with the software team to address the testing of new software designs

– Development of test software using structural and high level programming languages

– Contribution to new test methods and test development know-how

– Create and maintain software testing infrastructures as needed

Experience/Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software testing at unit and system levels
• Degree level education in Software/Computer/Electrical engineering or similar
• Good experience with High level programming languages – C, C+
• Experience using and developing automated testing infrastructures
• Experience with software test methodologies
• Knowledge in embedded system testing
• Experience working in the Semiconductor industry would also be really useful

This is a permanent, full time position located in Plano, Texas and a full salary/benefits/bonus package will be on offer
