Software Researcher – Automotive OS / Hypervisor / AUTOSAR

This role will be working as a Software Researcher on Automotive middleware focusing on Automotive Operating Systems. This will enable you to work on cutting edge HW & SW architectures, developing system software for Hypervisors, OS, and low level SW. This is working with a global telecommunications and tech company at the forefront of research in this domain.

The ideal candidate will have these key requirements & skills:

• You have a PhD in Computer Science or other related discipline
• Expert understanding of Operating Systems – Microkernels, hypervisor, Linux, RTOS, OSEK
• Prior working knowledge in automotive middleware – ROS, AUTOSAR (Adaptive or Classic), DDS, SOME/IP
• Strong programming skills with C/C++, Python and other scripting languages
• Any experience working on computing abstractions for CPU/GPU/*PU, for heterogeneous SoC is beneficial
