System Architect – Low Power ASICs

I am working with a global semiconductor company based in Neuchatel, Switzerland who are looking to add a System Architect for their low-power team.

The System Architect will be responsible for defining and architecting the latest connected MCU and DSP based protocols aimed at miniature, battery-powered applications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer requirements into technical requirements
  • Define system partitioning, analyze and establish design trade-offs and options, and deliver device specifications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage a platform approach to product development and maximise IP reuse
  • Product feasibility analysis and product development cost estimation
  • Guide product roadmaps, definition and feature set
  • Engage with customers as a technical leader to help win new opportunities

Key Skills and Experiences Required:

  • 10+ years experience in semiconductor IC Design – including architecture/system engineering
  • Expertise in defining and architecting low-power applications
  • Firmware definition knowledge
  • Expertise in performing feasibility assessments of customer requirements
  • System engineering expertise
