Team Lead Computer Vision

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join a High-Tech Startup, who focus on pushing the boundaries of Robotics. In this role you will be joining the management team, supporting the development of the companies most recent Software Product, at their site in Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the stakeholders of the products Computer Vision functionalities and interfaces
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of computed vision related software libraries
• Contribute to the architectural and strategic development of product
• Manage 2-weekly sprints of a team in a Large Scale Scrum Framework
• Manage the allocation of team resources
• Scale up, manage, and mentor team members, reviewing and guiding their work, including employee appraisals and performance reviews
• Leverage technical expertise to mentor engineers and provide leadership in resolving complex technology issues
• Ensure team engagement, knowledge (transfer), and development capacity in the team
• Monitor and report the workload, resources, and results of your team

Requirements

• Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a focus in CV, ML or AI
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development in computer vision or robotics
• 2+ years of technical project management experience in a complex setting
• Experienced in at least one modern computer vision or robotic framework
• Ideally, you’ve already gained experience in leading international teams in a complex development environment
• As a project manager, you’re result-oriented and bring excellent organizational skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in industry automation, robotics, vision, and control domain
• Familiar with Jira and gitlab
• Hands-on-experience with LeSS, Jira
• Contributed to open source libraries
