Validation Manager – (Post silicon validation)
Brief outline

- post silicon validation of secure micro controllers for Banking and identification applications
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of the design process – pre silicon verification – post silicon validation.
Your role
- Post silicon validation
- Define product-specific validation plans, and review plans with relevant stakeholders
- Define, implement, and maintain an automated lab validation environment, including the required lab space, test equipment, automation SW, etc.
- Execute the post-silicon validation for Secure Microcontroller products
- Be hands-on during the product validation, to ensure that the product meets the specifications
- Lead and supervise a team of validation engineers for the creation and execution of product-specific test cases, and maintenance of the validation infrastructure
- Steer the progress of the validation activities, based on metric-driven progress tracking
- Report validation results into the system projects. Consolidate test results into validation reports, and review the results with relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a team of validation engineers, with the objective to execute the tasks listed above, in line with business requirements and project schedules
Skills and requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Masters Degree or higher preferred but not required
- At least 6 years of experience of hands on validation of SOC products.
Solid understanding and working knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM preferred)
- Expert experience and knowledge of lab measurement methodologies and equipment, including test automation methodologies and revision control.
- Understanding/knowledge of secure microcontroller / smart card architectures is beneficial, but not a must
- Programming experience using C, JAVA and scripting languages is required.
Experience with LabView or equivalent test automation languages a strong benefit

- Must have expert problem solving skills
- Crisp and concise communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
- Managerial skills: Must be a strong technical leader including leading cross functional teams (design & ATE test) and being able to understand requirements and map out validation of these requirements.
Salary depends on the experience of the candidate – 100,000k +
